Northside Rentals

The car was in good condition...Only came with 3/4 of a tank and we were told to return with a full tank or be charged...Returned a full tank and when we did and questioned the Reduced tank and were told to read the small print.Can only recommend that you demand a full tank of fuel as you will receive no refund on filling up and would have to be a clairvoyant to know how to fill up to 3/4 and expect not to be charged.

Excellent big cars for lower price than small cars at the airport! Easy pickup and drop off. Getting a cab between airport and Northside rentals makes a lot of sense if you're hiring for more than a couple of days. Highly recommend. Do note that the booking process takes a couple of days, but it's worthwhile.

Not too impressed, Booked a shuttle from airport to rental depot via online check in. Get to airport (Perth) and ring up to ask where to get the shuttle and get told shuttle wasn't booked and I had to find my own way to get car. Finally get car and every panel has damage, (dents and scratches). For a supposed luxury car not happy. Still is a rental what can one expect. Car was due for service and I was worried on condition (mechanically) will have second thoughts next time I rent.

Great cars at great prices. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. Definitely will use again.***Watch out for dodgy cab drivers trying to rip off customers from the Airport to North side Rentals - it's only 6.3km, so use an Uber!***

Avoid at all costs, picked up a vehicle for a 4 week hire, I was driving home stopped at a junction and a Ute ran into the back of me.They wanted an excess payment even tho it states on there website, it only applies if it’s your fault. Was told to read the find print.(office staff hadn’t got a clue where it stated it in the T&C’s)Pretty standard from an insurance perspective that if your hit from behind while stationary your not at fault!photos provided, the other driver admitted liability but they wouldn’t acknowledge it until the other insurance company had processed from there end.Wanted excess payment from me was told I’d get it back when they received confirmation from other party, only to say later I’d get it back when the claim is settled opted for a refund but they held onto the excess payment only the difference refunded.Explained my circumstances and they left me stranded without a vehicle which I was relying on, suffered damages and losses through no fault of my own with a rear end collision.ACCC have been notified I’d encourage anyone who’ve been through a similar experience with this backstreet firm to lodge a complaint with the ACCC.(Photos of junction it happened at and damage is pretty clear that I was hit from the rear)

Don’t let the distance from airport put you off. Such a easy , cheap rental with a fantastic clean car. Will definitely use again and highly recommended

Customer service was good over the phone to help with the booking and paper work. the car pick up was easy as well. Price point was cheaper than other rentals.Hired a 4x4 dual cabNegatives:- car was dirty - red dust everywhere in the car in every part of it, marked and stained some of our clothes. Interesting when the terms of agreement/use say not to use it on unsealed roads, how would red dirt & dust get in everywhere. And clearly wasn’t cleaned enough after use.- Tray boot didn’t come down, was like it was locked or didn’t work and no key to open it - no point getting a ute then.- glove box drops down out of place when opened.- not located at the airport for easier pickup (we knew this and it’s a short Uber ride)- no pre-existing damage report when we picked up the car, make sure you take photos before and after.No compensation offered when red dust issue and tray issue was brought up. Just an apology.

I hired a Mitsubishi van for one week for the National Water Ski Championships in April 2023. I am a wheelchair user and the van was great to carry our water ski gear to the site and back. I was able to fit and use the portable hand controls without any issues.The van was great to drive and very economical on fuel. The shuttle got me to and from the airport on time. The price was very good and there were no issues as the staff went out of their way to help me. I would highly recommend Northside Rentals.

Had a great experience with Northside Rentals! Needed late night pickup and drop off which was an easy process. Very well priced and got bond back in 4 days. Email communication was great, would definitely use again!
